Spirituallysmart.Com was offline for a couple of weeks due to coming to the realization that Tony Alamo was guilty of sexual child abuse. I simply believed the testimony of the victims at Alamo's trial. It seems there are people who don't believe this. they would rather start a whole new conspiracy theory that I had been paid off, threatened or some other garbage.
Tony Alamo's own attorneys stated that the testimony was "brutal" and were only trying to "technically" fight the charges of violating the Mann Act. I believe the jury decided right. I agree with the jury from what I heard in the evidence. And I also believe Alamo was guilty under the Mann Act.
From Alamo's camp you never heard them officially refute the accusations of child rape. There was only a legal posturing of disproving the technicality of the charges. Hear what Alamo's attorney says. I believe he is simply saying, "they can't get him on the Mann Act."
Besides this legal posturing there was message after message coming from Alamo justifying old men raping very young girls. Even as young as 8 (see section 3 where it states that his version of "marraige" is protected by his idea of "freedom of religion").
Tony Alamo was often stating publicly in messages that he believed it was OK according to the bible to commit these crimes but would add, "but I don't practice that." Tony would often say this at that point, "the Bible teaches about being a eunuch but i'm not one of those either.." So that means he was hiding his activities from his own congregation! And now many have had their own children taken away or they are in hiding.
How did Alamo do this? By only allowing very trusted members of his church to get close enough to him to where they knew his business.
In the trial Alamo admitted to having all these women as wives. But Alamo's followers weren't allowed to hear any of the trial. They are continuing to intentionally hoodwink the remaining members by keeping the fqacts from them all. Tony's "wife" Sharon also stated she saw more and more girls coming to reside in her home but didn't notice they were getting younger and younger.
I believe in religious freedoms very strongly. But this isn't a case of a violation of religious freedom. This was about helping innocent young victims by any means necessary.
What Tony did was to try and make it look like the Vatican/Government was attacking him. Meanwhile he's a criminal who needed to be brought down. He disgraced all Vatican reseachers, Christians, homeschoolers, Patriots, etc and etc..

what was i wrong about? and how do you know? where you there all the time with Alamo? Judgment by God is for sinners. I'll appear before the mercy seat of Christ. To Anonymous: Have you ever read in the New Testament where a bishop or deacon is to be the husband of one wife? Where does TA get the idea that Jesus' mother Mary was about six years old or however young? The Bible does not give her age!
I was in the Worldwide Church of God cult. Reading statements from people about what went on in Alamo's church brought back memories...deja vu. They were trying to discourage me and my husband of almost 16 years from marrying, for example--trying to police people.
If it's true that Susan Alamo was doing the preaching way back when, well, the Bible says that women should keep silent in the churches.
The Bible says to test the spirits.
People that are true Christians trust in the word of God, obey it and follow it. They don't go by opinions, feelings and news articles or the mouths of babes that are living sinful lives, going to government paid/supported witness preparation camps and receiving numerous gifts from the Feds. They use and receive the entire word of God to judge ALL things. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. The world and it's laws and opinions have changed. God's word has not.

Revelation states that if you add to the Word of God that God will add to you the plagues described in the Word of God. I would say that this has happened to Tony. Note also, that such payouts have to be revealed to the jury in court which is why they revealed the small number of gifts given to one of the Does. Also, another scripture came to mind for anonymous, who claims there arent scriptures which show TA is wrong. The Bible says "I will eat no meat while the world standeth lest I cause my brother to offend" (roughly quoted). So Paul says not to even eat meat if that offends a brother to cause them to think he is not of the Lord, thereby wounding their conscience... How much more should a "christian" not rape and molest a prepubescent 9 year old. Ok, so you think that it is not a sin in itself to do that. Well, then he should move to Saudi Arabia or somewhere else if there is a place that thinks that is ok. Look what he caused! Members children have been taken away and caused much pain by this man. ReplyDeleteI agree with you in what the Roman Catholic church has been found guilty of. But Tony was breaking the law and yet hiding behind these truths you and I and many others know. Tony wasn't tortured. They (alamo ministries) would say that in a heartbeat. Tony Alamo is in touch with people from his church. There is no torture. But he's been found guilty of a crime to which they mainly didn't even attempt to refute!

Once the Lord showed to you the falseness of Hoffman, you will then be enlighted, as Tom was. When that happens, you will find much support in the ex-members.
I will pray for you that you will do some honest searching. Don't go on what Hoffman has told you. Search it out for yourself. God did not make His plans for us a secret. He created guidelines. He said that if anyone offends a child, it would be better for that man had a millstone been tied to his neck and thrown into the sea. Technically, you don't see Hoffman as a man but as a prophet but, he's never called fire from the sky nor was he able to bring Susan back to life after all of that time he had everyone, including the children, praying and fasting for her resurrection. If you look at our country's minimum wage, certainly $20 a week (if you're lucky) does not fulfill God's requirement.
The bible speaks against fraudulent gain yet, from what I've heard, Hoffman and Susan was riding in limos, wearing furs and living high on the hog while the members, who worked for Hoffman's fraudulent gain lived in sub-poverty.
Why would Hoffman put his properties into everyone else's names but his own and not allow those people to indulge in what was due to them?
Why wouldn't Hoffman pay taxes when the bible says to render unto caesar what is caesar's? When Caesar (America) set the age for adulthood at 18 and considers anyone under that age as a minor, and, the law speaks against having sex with a minor, do you feel that God's laws applies to everyone except Hoffman because he's convinced you that he's a prophet?
I urge you to please do some serious soul searching. It won't be easy and, the revelations won't be easy for you to accept because it will mean that everything in your spiritual life was a lie but, don't let pride get in your way. There are people who will help you get through it. There is nothing to be ashamed of when you search for and find the truth.

ReplyDeleteI sat here and watched you defend Tony Alamo VIGOROUSLY for quite some time. And after watching and listening to some of the things this huckster was saying, I couldn't understand how you could be so blind as to the true nature of this guy, especially with you being so in tune with the nature of the Vatican, and it's LONG history of crimes against humanity.
But I am glad that you have been humbled by your great error in judgment concerning Alamo, so that MAYBE you might finally consider that you just might ALSO be wrong about other important issues. Issues that you seem to be so incredibly sure of, like the non-necessity of keeping the 4th commandment, and claiming that "Jesus is your rest", even though Jesus, His disciples, the Apostle Paul, and the early Christian church all kept Sabbath.Notice the Jews NEVER had a problem with Paul on this issue, because he ALWAYS kept the Sabbath.
I guarantee you, that the Jews would have raised HELL if Paul had either done away with keeping the Sabbath, or changed it to another day, like the Roman Catholic Church did. The Jews were SILENT on that issue. They had NO BEEF with Paul, on that issue.
You say "Jesus is my rest"? What do you say then, that Jesus is your "shall not murder" too? You can break THAT commandment because Jesus is your "not murder" FOR you? So even if you break THAT commandment, you're not really breaking it, because Jesus IS your "shall not murder"?
Heaven and earth will pass away before ONE jot, or ONE tittle shall pass from the law. Gods remnant people will be observing ALL TEN (not just 9) of His commandments.
When Jesus was asked by His disciples about the sign of His coming, and the end of the age, He included (in Matthew 24:20), "Pray that your flight not be in winter, or on the Sabbath day". Now not only does that tell you that Gods commandments were to still be observed long after His death and ascension to heaven, but just how IMPORTANT that it was. So important that He admonished you to pray that you don't have to flee for your life on the Sabbath!
