And Χριστός Ἰησοῦς (Christos Iēsous) loved αὐτός's (autos's) ἐχθροί (echthroi) unto θάνατος (thanatos - death).

Α' Ἰωάννης (1 Iōannēs - 1 John) 3:14 puts it as plainly as possible:

And αὐτός's (autos's) ἐντολαί (entolai) are not βαρύς (barus - burdensome), because everyone born of Θεός (Theos) νικάω (nikaō - overcomes) the κόσμος (kosmos - world). And this is the νίκη (nikē - victory) that has overcome the κόσμος (kosmos): our πίστις (pistis - faith)."

THE ΜΕΝΩ (MENŌ - ABIDING) CONNECTION

It all comes back to μένω (menō - abiding). Ἰωάννης (Iōannēs - John) 15:4-7:

"Μείνατε ἐν ἐμοί, κἀγὼ ἐν ὑμῖν (meinate en emoi, kagō en humin) — Abide in Me, and I in you."

"As the κλῆμα (klēma - branch) cannot bear καρπός (karpos - fruit) of itself unless it μένει (menei - abides) in the ἄμπελος (ampelos - vine), so neither can you unless you μένετε (menete - abide) in Me."

"I am the ἄμπελος (ampelos - vine), you are the κλήματα (klēmata - branches); the one who μένει (menei - abides) in Me and I in them, this one bears much καρπός (karpos - fruit), for apart from Me you can do οὐδέν (ouden - nothing)."

And Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous) says plainly what happens to such a branch: "it is thrown away... and dries up... and they cast them into the πῦρ (pur - fire) and they are burned." — Ἰωάννης (Iōannēs) 15:6

THE BOTTOM LINE

Θεός (Theos) IS ἀγάπη (agapē) — Α' Ἰωάννης (1 Iōannēs) 4:8. Therefore ἀγάπη (agapē) is as deep and complex as Θεός (Theos) αὐτός (autos). Yet for us, this ἀγάπη (agapē) is also ἁπλοῦς (haplous - simple). Because it is Θεός (Theos) who opens our καρδία (kardia - heart), νοῦς (nous - mind) and σύνεσις (sunesis - understanding) to it.

So the idea that "if you don't judge, you won't be judged" is completely ἄλογος (alogos - illogical). We will ALL be judged. The real warning is about κατακρίνω (katakrinō - to condemn) — passing sentence on others using our own ἄλογος (alogos) opinions rather than the λόγος (logos - word) of Θεός (Theos).
