If Θεός (Theos) Himself — the πλήρωμα (plērōma – fullness) of the Πατήρ (Patēr) through Χριστός (Christos) — has condescended to take up κατοίκησις (katoikēsis – permanent residence) in human σάρξ (sarx – flesh) —
And someone deliberately corrupts or destroys that ναός (naos) —
They are not breaking an administrative rule.
They are attacking the dwelling place of the living Θεός (Theos) directly.
The κρίσις (krisis – judgment) of Θεός (Theos) upon such a person is therefore not institutional punishment. It is the natural and just response of the One whose ναός (naos) was violated.
This should produce genuine φόβος (phobos – fear/dread) — not mere "reverence" — in anyone who understands what the ναός (naos) actually contains.
Do your own research. Seek Θεός (Theos) with all your καρδία (kardia – heart).
